Chief Real Estate Officer Capital Growth Properties, Inc. Robert Buchalter has worked in the real estate development, management and construction field for more than 20 years. He is currently President of The Buchalter Co., Inc., which is a general contractor, management and development company. In the past five years, Buchalter and The Buchalter Co. have developed and/or acquired in excess of $300 million in properties including retail, office, warehouse, commercial office and medical related developments. They are located in numerous states including Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. He is a past president of the Tuscaloosa Homebuilders Association as well as a past president of the Homebulders Association of Alabama; a member of the Alabama Chapter of CCIM's; a member of the Alabama Board of Realtors; and a board member of the Tuscaloosa Chapter of Big Brothers and Big Sisters. He is the current Chairman of the Alabama Builders Political Action Committee. Buchalter graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
