John Nagle brings more than 30 years of hands on experience in all facets of retail, hotel, resort, office and multi-family real estate. His responsibilities have included acquisition, analysis, development, disposition, financing, leasing, management, marketing and operations. He is currently President and COO of Capital Growth Properties, Inc. Nagle's past accomplishments include serving as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and a principal of The Great Lakes Companies, Inc. (GLC), a full service hotel resort and senior housing developer. During his six years at GLC, Nagle was a key member in the team that grew the GLC real estate portfolio from $20 million in value to more than $300 million. Nagle is a 15 year veteran of General Growth Properties, Inc. (GGP), the country's second largest developer of regional shopping malls with a portfolio value in excess of $20 billion. He served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of General Growth Properties, Director of Hotel Operations for subsidiary General Inns Corporation and as Vice President of Leasing for General Growth Management, Inc. While at GGP, Nagle was involved in the sale of more than $850 million in retail, office and multi-family residential real estate, financing in excess of $400 million and retail leasing activity of 800,000 square feet. He is an alumnus of the University of Iowa in Iowa City where he studied engineering. Nagle has been instrumental in earning national property awards throughout his career.
