TEEL Composites Division has completed the installation of another pultrusion machine, allowing us to increase our capacity for pultruded tubing and profiles by 50%.

Designed in-house at TEEL Plastics, Inc., the pulling unit is similar to our previous pultrusion machines, but is 10 inches wider to allow more working space between streams. Like our previous machines, the new line is able to pull multiple streams of fiberglass tubing or profiles simultaneously.

This new equipment also has a heating unit that employs the latest design in heated platens to give more uniform heating.

What's more, the new machine takes advantage of our previous experience in designing and fabricating pultrusion equipment, and the design of this machine includes advanced features not found in commercially available pultrusion machinery.

Several other pieces of equipment were purchased to support the additional capacity including a resin mixer, digital scale, saws, chamfering stations, a new drill unity, tooling, inspection tables and parts washer.
