Nine Dot Brainteaser

We are well aware that innovations grow out of unexpected, surprising and even irreverent mental connections. In the case of the nine-dot puzzel, we were inspired to do the Harvard Business Review "one better."

At first though, the idea to solve the puzzle with one straight line seems impossible. Likewise, in hindsight, our solution seems quite obvious and often evokes a smile or a response such as, "of course that's the answer." But we believe that our idea to connect the enlarged dots and use one bold, vivid stroke is actually creativity in its purest form. We are well aware of how easy it is to take a simple project and make it complicated. Broadbent & Williams did what all designers should do - take a complicated project and make it simple.

At Broadbent & Williams we have implemented qualtiy leadership programs that encourage unique solutions. We embrace the philosophy of "thinking across boundaries" and incorporate it into all of our creative and cleint service processes. We think beyond traditional media mixes. We explore new solutions for reaching and touching target audiences. We draw on experience from noncompeting industries. We have the ability to compare our creative against the competition, but at the same time, avoid letting the competition define the boundaries by which we judge that creative.

As the cover said, if you also understand and embrace this philosophy - we would like to work with you. Call (608) 695-1531 or e-mail, david@bwadv.com.
