- The Wind in My Hair - June 19, 2001
This year the University of Wisconsin
Children's Hospital asked for my help in running a fishing day at Lake Waubesa. This event was for
pediatric hematology/oncology patients or cancer kids. These children normally wouldn't get a chance to get a day fishing and have a cookout.
- Tourney Fishermen - True Sportsmen and Conservationists - July 10, 2001
We all have opinions on fishing tournaments be it good or bad. But, the truth is most serious
tourney fishermen are true sportsman and conservationists.
- Fishing Has No Boundaries- July 16, 2001
I donate as much time, equipment,
and information as I possibly can. This year I've helped with Pathways to Fishing, Cancer Kids, the Yahara Fishing
Club Madison Children's Fishing Day, and this past weekend was the Fishing Has No Boundaries outing at Governor
Nelson State Park
- Experiment - Try Someplace New - October, 28, 2001
After a few days,
where the wind blew so hard that I had three-foot waves going up-river, it finally warmed up
and the gale force winds turned into a warming breeze from the southwest. A friend, Daryl
Christensen called and asked if I was free to go fishing.
- Roll With the Flow- November 06, 2001
This was to
be the trip of the year for some friends and me. We were going to Lake Erie to fish for giant
walleyes on the best walleye lake in the world at the best time of the year.
